Dr Brian Harris

Dr Brian Harris, is a highly regarded author, internationally renowned theologian, pastor and teacher. Brian has served as the Principal of Vose, as well as the Head of the Department of Ministry and Practice since 2004.

South-African born Brian has enjoyed a ministry and career that has included serving as a Senior Pastor in Auckland, New Zealand while lecturing at both Carey Theological and Laidlaw College. He serves on the Board of Directors at Australian College of Theology, (ACT) Vose’s accrediting body and is also a Director of Christian Schools Australia. Currently, Brian is the Pastor at Large for the Carey group of churches and schools, Principal and Head of Ministry and Practice at Vose.

Dr Graeme Cross

Dr Graeme Cross is a former school principal. His research in to the role of Christian Schools has been awarded for excellence by Edith Cowan University. As our Academic Dean he brings rigour to all Vose’s teaching and learning approaches, and shapes future vision by expanding the programs Vose offers.

Monica O'Neil

Monica O’Neil is an experienced minister, facilitator, and strategy consultant, with a demonstrated history of working in professional training & coaching. She is the Director at Vose Leadership.

Cate Vose

Cate brings leadership to the marketing, events, social media and online learning space, and offers supervision and coaching to chaplains throughout the state, Cate’s passion for fostering healthy leaders takes shape through her involvement in Vose Training, where she trains students in pastoral and spiritual care.

Jon Bergmann

Jon Bergmann is both Director of Vose Training as well as holding the position of Teaching Pastor at Westcity Church. Since joining Vose in early 2017 he has been part of upgrading the online learning program, initiating an upgrade of all the VET courses and finding new and exciting ways to bring life to theological, ministry and leadership training.

Dorothy Zander

Dorothy oversees the financial management aspects of the Seminary’s operations including budgets, management and financial reporting while managing the accounts team and shared services for Baptist Churches Western Australia.

Dr Michael O'Neil

Michael is the director of Vose Research and head of the Christian Thought Department. He has studied at, and been an active member of, Vose since the late 1990s. Before commencing at Vose Michael served in various churches large and small for twenty years, in team pastor, sole pastor, and senior minister roles.”

Dr David Cohen

Dr David Cohen has been head of biblical studies at Vose since 2004. He is an internationally renowned author, theologian and pastor who specialises in the Hebrew Bible.

Lloyd Porter

Lloyd Porter is a State Director for Operation Mobilisation (OM) and the Director of Vose Mission. He served as a missionary in Russia for 17 years.

Dr Michael Kok

Hailing from Alberta, Canada, Michael will be commencing in 2018 as our new New Testament Lecturer, bringing with him an impeccable scholarship record. Michael has a particular passion for teaching Greek, and continues to publish widely on the early reception of Mark.

Justine Humphreys

A professional background in the Disability, Health and Community Services sectors has given Justine insight in to the complexities of mental health and other issues. She has lectured at TAFE and Riverview Leadership College. Her role includes guiding students towards holistic spiritual growth. Her background in Ontological Coaching is a huge asset to her clients who see her in her capacity as Vose Leadership Coach.

Vicki Lorrimar

Vicki is in her final year of a PhD at the University of Oxford, in the area of theology and science. Her research considers theological anthropology and the doctrine of creation in light of prospective human enhancement technologies.. Previously Vicki completed a Master of Divinity at Vose Seminary, and a Bachelor of Science (Genetics) at the University of Western Australia.

Dr Richard Moore has been involved in Vose in different capacities since 1974. In retirement, he continues as a research fellow with Vose Seminary, publishing in the fields of New Testament and church history.

Dr. John Olley

Dr John Olley joined the faculty in 1978 and served as principal from 1991 to 2003. He oversaw the transition from Murdoch University to affiliation with the Australian College of Theology. In retirement, he continues as a research fellow and chair of the Vose College Academic Board.

Bridget Barry

Nathan Hobby

Nathan Hobby is an award-winning author who has worked at Vose since 2008 and is currently part-time librarian responsible for collection development, ebooks, and special collections. He is the co-editor of Vose Seminary at Fifty: From ‘Preach the Word’ to ‘Come Grow’ (2013) and the author of the T.A.G. Hungerford Award winning novel, The Fur (2004). He is writing a biography of the Australian novelist Katharine Susannah Prichard for his PhD thesis at UWA.
